She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science from Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL and received her Doctorate of Medicine from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Shelly completed her Internal Medicine Residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. After finishing her residency, Dr. Shelly has been practicing Primary Care and Obesity medicine since 2014. In 2017, she became a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Her interests include Obesity Medicine, Preventative medicine, Women’s health, Diabetes and Hypertension. She started a weekly podcast & Youtube channel entitled Back on Track: Achieving Healthy Weight loss, where she discusses how to get on track and stay on track with your weight loss journey. She went on to receive two masters degrees before being accepted into medical school. About Kenny & Chivaun Philpot:
Kenny and Chivaun Philpot met and started dating back in college, they were both collegiate scholarship athletes. Kenny went on to play in the NFL for a period of time while Chivaun was finishing up school, and they have been together ever since. They have now been married for 17 years, with 3 beautiful children ages 16, 8 & 6. Kenny is a Project Manager for Google, a Black Googler Network Lead (Representing Google in the community efforts to uplift and provide opportunity for people of color), a football coach to his sons team, and a Real Estate Investor. About Angela Graves:
Angela Graves was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. She went in for a routine pre-college physical shortly after her 18th birthday, which prompted her to be sent to a specialist to run tests and later be diagnosed on August 7, 2009. Surgery and treatment caused a few extended absences during her freshman year at Paine College where she was studying Mathematics on a Full academic scholarship. This did not delay or deter her as Angela is a proud graduate of Paine college and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. After 10 successful years in education, Angela is now a Training Analyst in Organizational Readiness for SL. King Technologies. When she's not working professionally, she’s still working as a full-time mom, PTA Vice President, private math tutor, and travel agent.
