Thursday Apr 08, 2021
Welcome back Healthy People to another episode of On Call with Dr. Randy. In this episode, I discuss the data on anaphylactic reactions after receiving the Pfizer and Moderna Vaccine. Also, this week I will be talking to our guest Dr. Fenwa Famakinwa Milhouse. She and I will discuss her experience when she and her husband were both diagnosed with Covid-19.
Dr. Fenwa Famakinwa Milhouse is a fellowship-trained, board-certified urologist. She currently practices at Dupage Medical Group (the largest private practice group in Illinois) as the female pelvic floor surgeon. Originally born in Nigeria, her family immigrated to the US when she was a young child. She grew up in Texas and ended up at the University of Texas at Houston for medical school. After hearing a lecture about urology given by an African American Woman Urologist, she found her calling. She trained at the University of Chicago for a Urology residency. Thereafter, she completed her fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.
